The only environmentalist organization of Jahangirnagar University ‘Deep Ecology and Snake Conservation Foundation’ has announced the new committee.
The committee was announced at 11:30 am on Friday in the conference room of the student-teacher center of the university.
Ikhtiyar Uddin, Associate Professor of the Department of Government and Politics, the advisor of the organization, announced the new committee.
Mosaddekur Rahman, a student of philosophy department, is the president of the committee and Syeda Ananya Faria, a student of law and justice department, is the general secretary.
Other posts of the new committee include Hasibur Rahman of Journalism and Media Studies Department as Organizing Secretary, Anika Rahi of Anthropology Department as Treasurer, Osman Sardar of Law and Justice Department as Office Secretary and Mehrunnesa Neela of Mathematics Department as Publicity and Publication Secretary.
