A local Chhatra League leader was shot dead at his home in Rajbari. Another person was shot in this incident.
Deceased Sheikh Sumon Sabuj (28) president of Bharat Union Chhatra League. His father’s name is Samchul Alam Babu.
District Chhatra League General Secretary Zahidul Islam said the incident took place at the house of Sheikh Sumon in Udakanda area of Barat Union of Sadar Upazila around 10 pm on Sunday.
Rajbari Additional Superintendent of Police. Salahuddin told bdnews24.com that the police visited the scene after receiving the information. The reason for this murder is under investigation. Efforts are on to arrest those involved in the incident.
