A case has been filed under the Special Powers Act against a TCB dealer and his associate for alleged irregularities and illegal stockpiling in Barisal.
OC Md said that a case has been registered against them at Mahanagar Airport Police Station on Saturday. Helal Uddin.
The accused in the case are – TCB dealer Humayan Kabir of Shibbari, Kashipur of the city and his associate Sheikh Mamun Mia (42) of Kaunia Branch Road.
Shatadal Sarkar, assistant director of TCB, said that dealer Humayon Kabir has a business named M/s Chowdhury Store in Kashipur market. As a dealer of TCB, he purchases goods as per government norms.
