The fire service is starting the rescue operation for the third day in search of the body of Mehdi Hasan Swapan, who went missing in the case of the explosion at Cafe Queen Bhawan in Siddikbazar, Dhaka.
Fire service personnel started the day’s search operation in that building around 9 am on Thursday. However, as the building has become dangerous, they are not able to use any heavy equipment, remove the concrete garbage and go down to the basement.
Anwarul Haque, Vice Principal of Fire Service Training Complex, said, “The relatives of Mehdi Hasan Swapan claim that his body is under the building. We have started the campaign Even today, as there is a lot of water under the building, the water has been drained and then the rescue operation has started.”
