A madrasa student was killed when the school bus overturned in Durgapur upazila of Netrakona. Police said that at least 12 people were injured.
Muhammad Shibirul Islam, OC of Durgapur police station, said that the accident took place in Lakshiganj area of Durgapur upazila on Durgapur-Shyamganj road around 10:30 am on Wednesday.
Deceased Himel Sheikh (13) is a student of Darul Uloom Al Islamia Hafizul Quran Madrasa, Muktagacha Nonradirbari, Mymensingh.
Police could not immediately reveal the names of the injured.
