Archer’s 6 wickets after Malan-Buttler’s century

Rasi von der Dassen could not survive. Archer started hunting him back. Hendricks was bowled soon after his fifty by Adil Rashid.

Tries by Aiden Markram and Classen. South Africa were 156/3 in 25 overs. Archer then hit a pair. He sent back Markram (39) and David Miller in two consecutive overs. Marco Jansen couldn’t do anything either.

Klaassen tried in partnership with Wayne Parnell for the seventh wicket. However, South Africa could not advance further after breaking the pair of 85 runs off 54 balls on Klaassen’s departure.

Archer completes his five-wicket haul by bowling Parnell. Later he bowled Tabraiz Shamsi to end the innings.

Archer returned to international cricket after 17 months with this series leaving behind the disappointment of injury. He scored 81 runs for 1 wicket in the first match. This time he showed his ability by taking 6 wickets in great bowling.
