Japan-Bangladesh art exhibition in collaboration with BKash

On the occasion of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh, the Embassy of Japan and the Department of Drawing and Painting of Dhaka University jointly organized an art exhibition.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the vice-chancellor Md. Zainul Gallery of Dhaka University Fine Arts Faculty on Saturday. Akhtaruzzaman.

This exhibition named ‘Japan and Bangladesh: A Group Art Exhibition’ will be open from 11 am to 8 pm every day till December 22.

Bikash, the country’s mobile financial service provider, is one of the partners of this event.

A press release from BKash said on Sunday that the six-day exhibition will feature Japanese artists Mio Sato, Ikeda Yoshito, Kota Nakamura, Shiyoshi Uryu, Erina Matsui, Akio Ui, Azusa Kobayashi and Bangladeshi artists Mohammad Yunus, Jamal Ahmed, Mostafizul Haque, Nisar Hossain, Sheikh. Afzal, Mohammad Iqbal, Anisuzzaman, Maqsuda Iqbal Nipah, Nazmun Nahar Kaya of these 16 people have received a total of 32 artworks in two different mediums.

Among others, Deputy Chief of Mission of Japan Embassy in Bangladesh Masida Tatsuya, CEO of BKash Kamal Kadir, Chief External and Corporate Affairs Officer Sheikh Md. Monirul Islam was present.
