North Korea fired two ballistic missiles into the sea again

“North Korea’s ballistic missiles were launched very steeply, landing in the East Sea. U.S. and South Korean intelligence authorities continue to thoroughly review the situation, taking into account recent developments regarding their missiles,” the JCS said in a statement.

South Korea held a National Security Council meeting on North Korea’s missile launch and strongly condemned the North’s missile launch, the South’s presidential office said.

They also warned that the North’s continued provocations and development of its nuclear weapons and missile programs would further endanger the North Korean regime.

Pyongyang fired the two missiles into the sea days after testing a high-thrust solid fuel engine. Analysts say the engine will allow North Korea to develop new strategic weapons and launch ballistic missiles faster and more from portable cores as it seeks to accelerate its missile and nuclear weapons programs.
