Bi Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American female MMA fighter who competed at amateur and professional levels. She fought in Atomweight and Strawweight divisions. Initially, she trained in the Muay Thai style of fighting, and later, she trained in boxing and kickboxing as well.

Bi Nguyen was born on 30 October 1989 in Vietnam. In 1995, she along with her family moved to Oakland, California, US from Vietnam. She landed in the US on 3 March 1995. She started working in newspaper delivery at the age of 10, working late till 3 am. At the age of 15, she left her family and moved to Houston, Texas. She learnt to drive and bought an apartment by the age of 17. She completed her schooling at Eisenhower High School in Texas.

Relationships/Affairs
She met a boy at the hotel where she worked as a waiter. As per one source, her relationship went on for 5 years; however, according to another source, it was for one year. She describes it as an abusive relationship. Her boyfriend hit her, kicked her, and stabbed her. One day, she was in the passenger seat of a car and her boyfriend was speeding when police cars started tailing them and signalled them to stop. Her boyfriend did not stop and lost control of the car. The car flipped and rolled 6 times. Police took her to the hospital and hospital staff identified her previous injuries as well. She reported the abuse to the police and her boyfriend was arrested for parole violation and later, was imprisoned.
Career
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Career
She started taking self-defence classes in Muay Thai at the age of 21. In 2014, she started competing in amateur MMA tournaments and made her debut in the Texas-based promotion Legacy FC. Her first amateur fight was against Ashley Milligan, which she won. For a brief period of time, she worked and lived at the gym. She did cleaning and front desk work in exchange for the membership and a place to sleep. She won the King of the Cage Atomweight title. She turned professional in 2016. Her first professional fight was against Andy Nguyen, which she won.

She fought in TKO Fight Alliance and King of the Cage. In 2018, she signed a contract with ONE Championship. She won her fights against Dwi Ani Retno Wulan and Ritu Phogat. She lost her fights against Bozhena Antoniyar, Nong Stamp, Jihin Radzuan, Jennifer Olsim, and Heqin Lin. She left the ONE championship in August 2022.

In November 2022, she lost the title fight for the strawweight division against Puja Tomar in the Matrix Fight Night (MFN -10) Championship. She achieved 6 wins and 9 losses in her professional career till 2022.
TV Career
She appeared as a participant in the 37th season of the show Survivor in 2018. She was in the David team and had to leave the show after 10 days of joining due to a knee injury she suffered while doing a task in the show.

In 2022, she appeared as a mentor in the show India’s Ultimate Warriors alongside the host Vidyut Jammwal and other mentors Mykel Hawke, Shaun Kober, and Shifu Kanishka.
